B&K Software Tools require an IBM or campatible personal computer with Windows 2000, Windows XP (32 bit), Windows Vista (32 bit), 256 MB of RAM, 250 MB of free hard disk space and a 16 bit color display (256 colors not supported). Please note: B&K Software Tools will not run on Windows 95/98/ME and x64 bit versions of Windows.

Installation Steps for B&K Software

Complete BkcSuite Installation

1. Uninstall any previous version of BKcSuite, if you are doing a Complete or Full Installation. Uninstall any previous Remote or Keypad Editors, if a full install of the Remote or Keypad Editors are being done. The Keypad and Remote Editors will not work from the B&K Task Bar unless they are installed first. They are optional to install if not needed or being used.
2. Install Complete or Full version of BKcSuite version 3.9.0.72. The Complete install will also include B&K Hardware Quick Tools and B&K Task Bar. 
3. Install CK 2.2 Keypad Editor Version 1.10.115 (optional)
4. Install SR10.1 Remote Editor Version 1.12.296 (optional)
5. CK1.2/ CK1.1 Keypad Editor Version 1.12.296 (optional)
6. Install Full version of B&K HTTP_Flash File Download Application version 1.0.54

Updating BkcSuite 

1. If a previous version of BKcSuite is installed on your PC and is no Older than version 2.5.54, you can update through the BKcSuite Program or download from the website, BkcSuite version 3.9.0.72_Update. This will not update or install any of the Rmote or Keypad Editors or  the B&K HTTP_Flash File Download Application version 1.0.54.
2. The Keypad and Remote Editors will not work from the B&K Task Bar unless they are installed first.They are optional to install if not needed or being used.
3. Install CK 2.2 Keypad Editor Version 1.10.115 (optional)
4. Install SR10.1 Remote Editor Version 1.12.296 (optional)
5. CK1.2/ CK1.1 Keypad Editor Version 1.12.296 (optional)
6. Install Full version of B&K HTTP_Flash File Download Application version 1.0.54

BKcSuite Full Version - 03/05/10

BkcSuite version 3.10.1 exe -This will perform a complete install of BKcSuite version 3.10.1, B&K Hardware Quick Tools and the B&K HTTP_Flash File Download Application. The complete install does not include the CK2.2 Editor Program or CK1.2/1.1 Editor Program or  All of those programs must be installed seperately and are located below. The BKcSuite ver. 3.10.1 must be installed to use with Reference 70, AVR707/705 software version 1.08.  

Note: New version of BKcSuite 3.10.1 supports both 32 bit and 64 bit for Windows 7 and Vista. BkcSuite is indicated by the RED BK Icon and the 32 bit by the Grey BK Icon.

Note: Please make sure to uninstall any previous versions of BKcSuite

03/05/10 - New Software Release for the Reference 70, AVR707 and AVR705 - Flash Update Software Version 1.08 - You must have installed the B&K HTTP FLash File Download Application wich is now included with BKcSuite version 3.10.1 to be able download Flash Update Software Version 1.08. IF you have an older version of BKcSuite or the Flash Downloader Application or do not have the current BKcSuite 3.10.1, please download and install BKcSuite 3.10.1. Please use the User Manual or Quick Guide for Flash File Update.

Note: BKcSuite is setup software for your all your B&K Products except amplifiers, keypads and remotes. Minimal Install does not include supporting documentation files i.e. manuals, RS-232 protocol, etc.) For associated documentation, please download and install the desired B&K PDF files listed below.

Note: B&K CT/HD6 Hardware Quick Tools - This is a small troubleshooting application that you can open on your PC, and "point & click" to operate.  The application allows basic control of your system and is not meant to replace the system controller, ie remote, keypad, touch panel. Before using, please open the documentation below.

Note: Please use the the User Manual or Quick Guide for set up and connection with an IP Router.

Note: If using a direct connection without a IP Router, please use B&K HTTP Flash File Direct Connection Documentation.pdf located below.

Note: Please make sure to check below for any updates from 1.0.50.

Note : You must have internet access when you open the program "B&K Flashloader Program" for the first time to get all the lastest B&K Unit Software Updates.

1. Click on " B&K HTTP Flash File.zip" from above and Save the ZIP file to a known location. 
2. After download is complete, double-click on the ZIP file.
3. When the Un-Zip program launches, select EXTRACT and choose the following  location to extract ALL of the files to: C:\Documents and Settings\Desktop
4. Open folder "B&K HTTP_Flash File Download Application version 1.0.50" and click on file "setupwin32.exe" and follow the setup wizard.
5. Once completed click on file below "B&K Flashloader Update 1.0.51" to update to version 1.0.51 of the Flashloader Program.
