The TCV31 accepts a standard component video signal input (high definition or standard definition), and converts that signal to a “differential drive” component video signal. A differential drive signal can be sent over long distances (up to 1000ft.), with minimal signal loss or degradation.  The TCV31 has one component video input (RCA connector type) and two differential drive CAT-5 outputs (Out 1 and Out 2 RJ45 connectors).
